I am passionate about serving others and
offer more for my customers than what the company I was working for would allow me to offer.
How different would your experience be with your contractor if you had an expert in the home improvement industry serving as a fiduciary to you?”
I’ve serviced thousands of homeowners and business owners when I worked for two major retailers in the home Propery improvement industry. Simply put, I’ve seen the good, the bad, and the ugly. The bad and the ugly do, unfortunately, still exist. Every homeowner has their own wants, needs, desires, personality, and knows what is and is not important to them. Homeowners will trust all important decisions to a contractor they are meeting for the first time. Sometimes this happens all in one day. Sometimes this is experienced all in a 25-minute estimate and the homeowner is left with a quote in hand with an expiration date on it. Or even a “sign now incentive” adding pressure to hire the contractor. This can be overwhelming, and there’s nothing wrong with that feeling, it’s normal. Even when a genuine contractor is the one in your home seeking to earn your business, these are just tough decisions to make because the workmanship is something you may live with for the rest of your life in the home. It’s just not that easy to have the peace of mind you are getting the best overall deal because you don’t have a fiduciary representing your best interest. Maybe you have your favorite “Uncle Tom” advising which decision to make. But don’t you just go against your favorite uncle’s advise anyways because you think you know better? Peace of mind can be obtained one way or another, but if you don’t know what you don’t know, then you don’t know how good your deal really is without a professional opinion and advisory before you make your own decision.
How it works
Submit your project for review: Complete an online intake form or feel free to reach out to me by phone or text if that is more convenient for you. I like to keep emails at a minimum and be as personable as I can be.
Phone Call First: We will discuss your renovation ideas because I want to learn as much about you and your project as I can in our initial call. I accept clients in all phases of construction weather you are just starting or right in the middle looking for immediate advisory.
In Person Meeting: Once we’ve agreed to take the next steps to meet in person, expect a deeper dive into your project over a 30-90-minute consultation. We will sketch out a game plan that makes sense, so you understand why you are hiring me.
Non-Disclosure Agreement: I have an optional privacy agreement and contract to present to you for your protection. This will legally bind me to a non-disclosure agreement to the financial information you share with me as it pertains to your situation. I will remind you again, I am your fiduciary renovation advisor, and I want to legally bind myself to this commitment. When I need to negotiate pricing on your behalf, your best interests will be protected. I need to know what your financial goals are and I want you to feel comfortable sharing this information with me. When we are completed with our project, your finances will remain confidential.
Second Meeting and Proposal to begin our partnership: Pricing will be outlined upfront in our second meeting. I like to schedule this meeting with you to review the game plan in a professional format. I will take our initial sketch and present it back to you in a way you can visualize our gameplan. If you haven’t yet felt at ease and excited to allow me to become your consultant, this is when you begin feel excitement and confident in the plan we created together. This is a safe place! We can have fun while we do this! I have listed basic consulting fees online, but I take on such a variety of different clients that there isn’t an hourly rate or price that fits all. Pricing is not something I am hesitant to discuss. The quicker we make pricing less awkward, the quicker we get to doing business together.
24/6 Support and Project Showcasing: You can expect me to “showcase” your project with detailed information of who’s who, product selections, vendors, scope of construction, and more pertinent information to your project. This will be turned over to you at the end of the project in professional presentation form. I like to include before and after photos and a detailed outline of all products and contractors used for future reference. Sundays I like to dedicate to Family and Faith. If you and your contractors like to work Sundays, I have no problem taking an emergency phone call if needed.
Forever remain in The Piocquidio Group network: Forming a long-term relationship with you and family members mean a lot to me.
